Ex 30M blocked me 30F for years, then contacted me right before my wedding. Thoughts?

She did the right thing with him, no drama, no mysterious follow-back, no nothing, but if we lived inside a romantic period film, she would have probably gone and have a final discussion with him [under the rain, with a passionate, angry, uncalled-for kiss] and rode into the sunset.

This is probably just a case of him using the same confusion tactics he used back when they were involved in a situationship. The sad part is that he is married and has a kid now, so there is more at stake. But let’s pay attention to the fact that he added her first and liked one of her posts, and only after she did nothing, like in a tantrum caused by rejection, he deleted everything and sent the connection request. All of that is a telltale sign of manipulation.

A picture representing the moment her ex opened linkedin for his final act

Our protagonist seems to be stronger now and practically immune to her ex’s maneuvers, but she did wonder, so he sadly managed to cause some curiosity. All in all, if she only shares that curiosity with us and keeps on acting right with him, things are probably going to be all right. Basically, if he really did have something important to say to her, shouldn't the approach be different?
